Nope, that's not the same issue.  That's one I see in Beta 1 as
well... double application launcher icons for Firefox and Dolphin.
You can remove them but they are added back in on restart/login.

These are automatically added for "default applications" which you can set in
KDE's systemsettings. However when I removed the task-bar and re-added it they
did not appear anymore. Might be a bug though.

The issue with the "ghost" applications basically looks like a running
application in the taskbar that remains behind after you exist the
application.  You cannot interact with this application button since
the application it's representing is no longer running.

There is another patch that is worth pulling into 4.7.2 in case the fix really
got removed due to personal problems a dev has with a user.

It would be really good for openSUSE if we were able to pull these
patches into the 12.1 release.

Regarding the bugs.kde.org reports... it really is shameful that
certain prima-donna developers take such a snarky attitude with the
KDE users who are frustrated by the apparent lack of response on a bug
report.

Oh well... we can do better :-) If the patches are released with
12.1, we will have a KDE 4.7.1 that is better than everyone elses.
It's a win-win.
