I've been preparing a package of python-ipaddr in OBS[0]
The library is a dependency of another project I'm trying to package,
and since it's a general enough library I thought I might submit it.
It's very useful when working extensively with IP addresses, since it
provides lots of stuff python's stdlib doesn't.
I tried to follow all the guidelines for python packaging, I tried the
package in my own 11.4 and it works Ok.
The only thing that makes me doubt is the requirement for a CLA[1] in
order to submit patches upstream. How does the community deal with
this?
If the CLA is no issue, I'll try to submit the package to factory
before the next milestone.
