This thread is for a discussion on a rule on content of packages and not
on content per se... please stay on subject. for your opinions on
religion please use your private parties if you have co*ones.

at least part of this discussion wasn't about any particular religion or
content, but about the question if to include such packages, i.e., the
rule on content you mention, thre pro's & con's. how can you discuss if
such a rule is desirable or not without mentioning the word "religion?"

If we, the community, decide the rule stands some packages will have to
go...if the rule goes... some new packages shall be welcomed... in our
education package...

fair enough.

just keep in mind that tolerance to intolerance is not a sign of being
wise...it means just you are an idiot...

in many cases that's clear and obvious. in others it depends on
interpretation and subjective understanding. in such cases, if you want to
exclude everything that _somebody_ considers offensive, or that somebody
interpretes in an offensive way, there won't be much left of your distro.
It seems to me to be perfectly reasonable to keep these sorts of software in
Education. We clearly like to organize in descriptive repos, so that is the
right place for Sword, Zekr or other such materials.
