Nouveau has come a bloody long way. I have had to fix Plymouth splashes 
before, and its not that hard to do... just a matter of adding a VGA mode in 
Grub. We wil hear alot of complaints about peoples splashes breaking after 
installing NVidia, so we just need to make sure we are ready to point them to 
correct info. Also, Plymouth defaults to an Ascii splash if it can't go VGA... 
this could be a fun opportunity to put in some retro Ascii art.
