I use the KDE Live CD from Factory, and I missed the new versions. While unable to get new ones, I used Build 0186 to install, set Factory as the repos, and did a 'zypper dup'. I also described this process on the beta forum. A number of people there used this workaround. It was not that I don't care. I just did not want to make any more noise. As long as I could get to the end point, that was fine. BTW, a Live DVD might be desirable, but it would not replace the Live CD. Why should I download 4 GB to create a minimal system for testing that will be dup'ed every day anyway. The 700 MB of a Live CD is just right and it installs quickly. If Live CDs are not available, then I will use NET install CDs. That usually entails a 2+ GB download.
