This is probably a WONTFIX since probably not many people install openSUSE directly from factory-tested using the NET iso, but I do, so that I can look for Yast2 installer regressions. Anyway, during first boot for the past few days, I've been a dhcp error message and then boot hangs. This is right at the beginning of boot. <quote> Welcome to openSUSE 12.1 "Asparagus" etc. linux.site login : [<timestamp here>] dhcpcd[1032]: eth0: Failed to lookup hostname via DNS: Name of service not known. </quote> I have no issue downloading the packages from the openSUSE servers during install, but during boot I guess something can't connect to the internet. BTW, I'm using Systemd, I wonder if that is the problem..... I can send in a bug report, but since I'm using the factory-tested repo it might not be useful. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
