To be able to run the installer you HAVE to REBOOT without nouveau. so adding nomodeset blacklist=nouveau 3 at the end of grub line is mandatory. Also, a important point, setup the NO_KMS_INITRD="yes" in /etc/sysconfig/kernel avoid to have nouveau or any kms module in initrd.
