Hi,

this morning, GCC 4.6 got checked in to be the default compiler in
Factory.

But apparently not the entire OBS knows about it, as it drags now gcc
4.5 AND 4.6 in, failing prety much everything building for Factory:

installing insserv-1.14.0-25.1
installing libgcc45-4.5.2_20110419-2.1
installing libgcc46-4.6.0_20110328-2.1
file /lib/libgcc_s.so.1 from install of
libgcc46-4.6.0_20110328-2.1.i586 conflicts with file from package
libgcc45-4.5.2_20110419-2.1.i586
exit ...
[ 30.698908] SysRq : Power Off
[ 33.554538] Power down.

Is this already on the radar of somebody?

Dominique

Very likely, _this_ in prjconf of openSUSE:Factory needs to be adjusted:

%define gcc_version 45

we switched yesterday to gcc 4.6, Factory is currently in a complete and
boot strap atm. So when you build right now against factory/standard, yes
there may be inconsitencies.

However, your packages should be blocked on the server side until the required
packages have finished building.

snapshot repo is still old.
