Hi,
after libreoffice got included with Tumbleweed huge parts of the former OpenOffice_org-* packages got sucessfully replaced with calling
zypper dup --from Tumbleweed
On my system there are nevertheless remaining OOo pieces. These are:
I have looked better:
OpenOffice_org-Quickstarter
Hmm, this one is not longer supported. I have dropped it in Factory. It is a very old piece of software. There were always problems with it. LO/OOo starts much faster these days, so it should not be really needed.
OpenOffice_org-icon-theme-galaxy
Ah, this is a bug. I see a typo in the Provides/Obsoletes tags. I am going to fix it.
OpenOffice_org-LanguageTool-de OpenOffice_org-LanguageTool-en OpenOffice_org-LanguageTool OpenOffice_org-converter OpenOffice_org-hyphen OpenOffice_org-templates-de OpenOffice_org-templates-en OpenOffice_org-templates-presentation-layouts OpenOffice_org-templates-labels-letter OpenOffice_org-templates-labels-a4 OpenOffice_org-thesaurus-en-US OpenOffice_org-thesaurus-de
All these package should have a correct replacement in the LibreOffice:Stable repo these days.
Is something missing or do we have to document how to get rid of these traces?
The packages have been renamed in Factory just few days ago. It is possible that they havn't been propagated to Tumbleweed yet.
I'm pulling in the packages from the LibreOffice:Stable repo into Tumbleweed. Should I not be using that repo and use the Unstable one instead?
Please let me know which would be the best one for Tumbleweed to sync to.
LibreOffice:Stable is perfectly fine. It includes the last stable version. LibreOffice:Unstable might include even alpha versions and it probably does not fit the idea of the Tumbleweed repo. If it goes well, I will put LO-3.3.1 into the LibreOffice:Stable repo the following week.
