"never". Some packages are certainly not treated as not existing. That
particular scenario is hardly the first time I've marked a package taboo
during installation and seen it get installed anyway. e.g., marking
SuSEfirewall2 do not install is pointless. Even marking it taboo leaves it,
4 apparmor* packages, and iptables checked for installation on the
installation summary tab.
Did you do it all in one session?
