Hello,
Just a word of clarification.
I am right if I think than tumbleweed running config will (if all goes well) be nearly identical to 11.4 RcX say in late February?
No. I do not think that we will have the existing Tumbleweed repo up to the level of 11.4 by the time 11.4 comes out. But, I do think that by the time 11.5 (or 12 or whatever we name it) comes out, that Tumbleweed will be at that level. It's going to take us some time to ramp up to get to this level, please give us some time we are still learning here.
in other words, it could be very easy to update from tumbleweed to 11.4 (more than from raw 11.3 to 11.4)?
It should be just as easy to do this. Tumbleweed will switch over to 11.4 packages at the time 11.4 comes out, so you wouldn't have to edit your repo list, so I guess it would be slightly easier than the transition from 11.3 to 11.4 :) hope this helps, greg k-h -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
