According to what I researched on google (btw: you have the same
ability), state "D Uninterruptible sleep (usually IO)" cannot be cleared
as it probably is a kernel process waiting for a disk write. Clearing
would allow possible disk/data corruption.
Have you reverted to the earlier version and issued a bug report. If you
do not, this conversation was a waste of time that will be remembered and
not repeated.

I get an error.
~> tvtime
Running tvtime 1.0.2.
Reading configuration from /etc/tvtime/tvtime.xml
Reading configuration from /home/donn/.tvtime/tvtime.xml
Cannot run two instances of tvtime with the same configuration.
ls -l shows
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 17256 Nov 14 10:48 /etc/tvtime/tvtime.xml
-rw-r--r-- 1 donn users 908 Dec 10 17:53 /home/donn/.tvtime/tvtime.
try: ps aux | grep tvtime
then kill the running "tvtime" processes and try again, or
try: killall tvtime
ps aux | grep tvtime (to ensure the processes ended)
and try again
Nothing closed it until I rebooted. That killed it but nothing else did.
Drop X (in runlevel 3) and trying didn't also.
