May be all this discussion is just a kind of misunformation. The
openSUSE easiest way is:
go to repository/add/community/, add Packman (I think packman should
be first in the list and made more visible).
Go to YaST, Pattern, multimedia, choose what you want, ok. we van
discuss the defaults
