Hi,
AFAICT /usr/sbin/Check only does two things nowadays
- compress man pages, info files and fonts
- run SuSEconfig.permissions
The former is done by brp-compress anyways, except for fonts. The
latter is obsolete and I'd like to call the replacement in a
separate brp script.
So only compressing fonts is left AFAICT. I guess that part could
either easily be patched into brp-compress too or just be omitted.
So far I only found wqy-bitmapfont where the font compression
triggers.
Therefore /usr/sbin/Check should be safe to drop, right?
