Probably. It's important to remember that the *number* of packages isn't
as important as it might have been years ago. A lot of work has gone
into making packages more granular specifically so that issues like that
one you're experiencing don't have as big of an impact. It will pull in
the necessary libraries (and potentially, utilities as well) but not the
entire world like it used to.
