Hi!
The login sound for the Gnome desktop that is enabled at "Startup
Applications" [gnome-control-centre] executes this command:-
/usr/bin/canberra-gtk-play --id="desktop-login" --description="GNOME
Login"
However there is no file with this id, and executing this command on the
terminal simply gives
Failed to play sound: File or data not found
The correct command, that plays a login sound correctly, should be
/usr/bin/canberra-gtk-play --id="login" --description="GNOME Login"
If the intention is to disable the login sound for Gnome [which is quite
alright I think], this should be done by disabling this auto-startup
command instead of having a wrong id for canberra-gtk-play.
Thanks
