The KDE desktop is setup to save the desktop when shutting down the system. This works with most KDE applications. They come up again after restarting the system. But this doesn't work with knetworkmanager. I have to restart it manually everytime after a reboot. Any ideas how to fix that ?
As far as I know Factory has switched from knetworkmanager to the plasmoid. For a fresh install the plasmoid should be started automatically. I am not sure if that happens for an updated system, so maybe you must put the plasmoid into the panel yourself.
