during boot on 11.3 m7 which I updated from 11.2 .
Do you have cups itself installed? The service description is supposed to come with the package - see the service descriptions in /etc/sysconfig/SuSEfirewall2.d/services/
In 11.2, /etc/sysconfig/SuSEfirewall2.d/services/cups comes with cups-
