Apologies if i barking under the wrong tree...
For i colleage of mine i had to install a vps with elgg.
I noticed that there was a recent build on the OBS of elgg,
located under:
528 /srv/distro/repo/Education/openSUSE_11.2/src/elgg-0.9.2-4.1.src.rpm
4384
/srv/distro/repo/Education/openSUSE_11.2/noarch/elgg-0.9.2-4.1.noarch.rpm
4528 /srv/distro/repo/Education/openSUSE_Factory/src/elgg-0.9.2-4.30.src.rpm
3760
/srv/distro/repo/Education/openSUSE_Factory/noarch/elgg-0.9.2-4.30.noarch.rpm
However, when looking at the elgg site, the 1.00 version is already two
years old. Current version is 1.7.
http://elgg.org/download.php
In case the Edu-maintainer is not around here, can someone pass on the
suggestion to do a modest update?
Sure, i was told that installation of the package is supposed to be very
easy, but for maintenance/upgrade reasons, i rather use suSE-build
packages.
Kind regards, hans
