Hey Group;

I must be one of the only people that uses a non graphic bootup.
Due to this error on several machines I am letting you know because
it is a very simple fix. Goto /etc/udev/rules.d and change SYSFS to
ATTR. It will solve bunches of /var/log/warn errors. This is in
11.2 and .3

Thanks Donn. Does that apply to all the rules or a particular one?

It only applies to 3 rules on this system. Just try from that directory
(not Folder) "grep SYSFS *" and then uses sed or vi to edit and replace
SYSFS and change to ATTR.

Going back to when this first appeared, I changed one to see if the
warnings ceased for it and it did. There are 7 others with SYSFS that I
haven't got around to changing.
udevd[627]: SYSFS{}= will be removed in a future udev version, please
use ATTR{}= to match the event device, or ATTRS{}= to match a parent
device, in /etc/udev/rules.d/51-usb-modeswitch.rules:19

Sid.
