Hey Group;

What is the reason that one directory in my saved OOO3 directory and "ls
-l" directory is ????? ?? ??. Is this another problem caused by some
very useless security of my files. I brought up OOO3 edited the files
then wanted to save them only to find OOO3 can not write them. Matter
of fact it is hung and will not even close.

Hmmmmm...... more like some corruption from your hardware with the
strange and unnatural happenings across the board.
Do your partitions fsck fine and is memtest OK? I have had broken IDE
controllers at least on 3 motherboards over the years that caused me
grief before I realised what was happening - a new Mobo sorted them each
time. What about errors from smartctl?
I am using OOo to read and write docs - over the last week or more I
have been using a .doc file to assemble SDR hardware and I have been
adding notes to it and saving in .doc format as I go along.
From the follow-up email, fuse is normally quite benign except for the
occasional irritating message.
