Use of build service is still confusing for users. Should be very clear what is experimental and what is stable (including stable for the application developpers and not supported by openSUSE).
Easily confused users, would/should normally just use the "Community Repositories" YaST module, where there's a limited set of repos with nice descriptions - and refrain from experimenting with OBS repos they don't understand.
do understand well if I say that such "backport" do *not* change any other app in the distro than the one asked for? (IE, for example, don't change kde version?)
More or less, that's the point of a backport, it's backported to work with the released distro. But there can be exceptions, for example I remember a backport of Amarok which required a newer taglib. But packages in the kde:backports repo will never make huge obtusive changes - that's why the repo is in "Community Repositories" - and factory/unstable KDE isn't. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
