You can always change to default but why? The desktop kernel is tailored for desktop use so unless you run a server in which you need more throughput than lower latency then use the default in the other case use the desktop kernel. Regards
On Sunday I installed RC2 from DVD. Today I noticed I have kernel-desktop instead of -default. Why?
Can I just select the default kernel from YaSt and change it? What is the differences?
