I'm occasionally getting this in /var/log/messages.
It doesn't seem to do harm, just wondering what it is.

I'm connected over UMTS modem while this happens.

The message is explicit: "noise floor calibration timeout"

(2462MHz) is the rf frequency of a wifi device. UMTS works in 2100 MHz

Power off the wifi devices, and see what it happens. But this wifi
device can be from Your neighbor.

I don't have wifi devices here myself except the machine's own wlan
interface, not active.
Maybe a neighbour, I know there are some around.
I've sometimes used them for testing, some are wide open...

But I've got a new one that I have never seen before either:
"unsupported jumbo"

That's another wifi thing, suppose?
The landing path to Helsinki-Vantaa airport from the West goes nearby so
there's airline traffic, but I quess it's not that :)

I mean You must build a faraday cage around Your house!
