It's working fine in EeePC 900 in 11.0.
I skipped 11.1 (and so forgot about it then) but I had it for a short
while and noticed then already that nm didn't handle the thing.
I'm cool with wvdial and network manager takes care of wired and wireless.
Just wondering...

System is on an EeePC 900, I had Milestone 8 running just fine. This is a known bug and will be fixed in the next upstream kernel
I upgraded with zypper dup from Milestone 8 to Rc1.
So far I had been using this USB GSM modem with wvdial quite swimmingly.
(I never got it to work with Network Manager although it works fine in
11.0.)
Now, when it is connected it freezes everything totally and this is
release for the 2.6.31.y release.
As it will be fixed in about 2 days, the and the fix is well known, why
would it be since we are not shipping the final version in the next 2
days?
