[opensuse-factory] [installation] create volume group failure

Why when I try to do a fresh install from Factory HTTP to a pre-partitioned
system using pre-configured LVM for / and Fedora and /home does the installer
think it needs to "create volume group", and abort because it cannot?
Could it have anything to do with no bootloader configuration? I have Grub
installed on the first partition, but do not intend for it to be mounted as
/boot. Instead I mount it on /disks/boot so that I can configure it myself as
circumstances dictate.
Does this need a bug filed?
