Hi all,I had the same problem updating from milestone 8 to the Oct 07 build
yesterday i've made an update to M8 by "zypper dup". Maybe two weeks ago i've
done a installation of M7 from scratch with the network-installation CD and
since then i had updated it from time to time by "zypper up". Last time maybe
4 days ago.
So, since yesterday i have trouble with my internet connection from this
machine. This machine is a toshiba notebook with intel 3945 wlan, and it
should have a connection to a fritzbox 3270, address is given by dhcp from
the
fritzbox. Security option is WPA2.
Fact is, the notebook does have a connection to the fritzbox, it is getting
an
IP-address, but the name resolution into the internet isnt working. I CAN
reach my other machines by IP and also by name (this is the reason why i can
write this mail).
route says (while connected via eth0):

What i've done so far:
- switched from wireless to cable (eth0) to the same router: no effect.
- switched from Networkmanager to ifup-method: no effect.
- switched from dhcp to manual addressing: no effect.
- deleted ~/.kde4/apps/networkmanagment and
~/.kde4/config/networkmanagmentrc:
no effect.
- deleted the complete folder ~/.kde4: no effect.
What else can i do?
