System management is locked by the application with pid 16920
(/usr/sbin/packagekitd).
Close this application before trying again.
OK on another box where packagekitd isn't running.
# kill -9 16920
# zypper in wine

Did you perhaps just login and the updater applet is running? That will
stop any other package manager from running.
