Hi,
my problem with flash is that it slows down the whole system until it's
unusable. Here is the bug-report:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=182869
In this report is a suggestion to use "export QT_NO_GLIB=1".
I do this now with all browsers (konqueror, firefox, opera) "export
QT_NO_GLIB=1 && konqueror" and I have a considerable win of speed and
reactivity. It works with KDE3.5 and KDE4.
Hope this helps

Hi everyone -
Has anyone else been seeing problems with some, but not all, flash
applications? Specifically, the problem manifests itself for me as
clicks not being registered by the applications. It's not universal,
though. The Novell Innerweb toolbar uses flash and it works fine.
Pandora.com does not, though. Those are just examples off the top of my
head. I've seen it on other sites as well.
Disclaimer: I'm still downloading M8, so these are my results with
releases up to M7.

SUSE Labs
I use the following to install flash - I have not noticed any slowdowns
using 11.2 milestone7 live kde cd
Install [Adobe Flash Player] http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
version 10.0.32.18 on x86_64 systems extract and copy plugin and it
displays with about:plugins
# cp -v libflashplayer.so /usr/lib64/browser-plugins/.
about:plugins shows
Shockwave Flash
File name: libflashplayer.so
Shockwave Flash 10.0 r32
I tested it with this

Enjoy.
