Cecil, there is no official 'update reposisitory' (one, which provides 'patches') for 11.2 until it's released. That's probably why YaST Registration does not add an update repo and YaST Online Update shows now updates. Nevertheless, you should be able to update the 'zypper up' way also in YaST Software Management.
How? It is not very important -zypper works-, but I am used to working with yast.
I thought there was some obvious way to do this, but it seems not. But you can e.g. click on the Repositories tab, select the @System repo (these are your installed packages), right-click on the package list and select 'All in this list -> Update if newer version is available'. But you currently you can get a lot of dependency problems to solve. This needs to be improved a bit. Zypper 'up' automatically ignores all updates which are not installable or need user's decision, so it's currently more convenient to use 'zypper up' for this. -- cheers, jano Ján Kupec YaST team ---------------------------------------------------------(PGP)--- Key ID: 637EE901 Fingerprint: 93B9 C79B 2D20 51C3 800B E09B 8048 46A6 637E E901 ---------------------------------------------------------(IRC)--- Server: irc.freenode.net Nick: jniq Channels: #zypp #yast #suse #susecz ---------------------------------------------------------(EOF)---
