Just now it did only 4 packages. But when running

It happens when zypper updates has package management as one of updates.
That is first to update. YOU (YaST Online Update) will restart without user
intervention.

Not when using 'zypper up'. This just updates packages to newer
available versions where possible.

What you described is true for 'zypper patch'.

Cecil, there is no official 'update reposisitory' (one, which provides
'patches') for 11.2 until it's released. That's probably why YaST
Registration does not add an update repo and YaST Online Update shows
now updates. Nevertheless, you should be able to update the 'zypper up'
way also in YaST Software Management.
