will skype not be on the DVD for 11.2?
Skype was never (IIRC) on any DVD or online repository.
Hmmm. I am sure that I installed skype with yast2 on my 11.0. And I have only openSuSE repositories installed and the packman repository but packman doesn't provide skype.
So where did it come from?
Karl
Skype has always been available from skype.com. With 11.0 I already had skype installed before the update or where I did a fresh install I downloaded from skype.com. Skype is a proprietary binary only, so even if it were on a non-free repo, it would be exactly the same. It has nowt to do with openSUSE and can't be changed. Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce ...
