That doesn't help. What I need to know is:
+ before you log in, is gnome-keyring running?
+ when you log in, does that create a new gnome-keyring process? Only
one?
+ when you start the usual apps you're using, does that also start a
new gnome-keyring process? Only one?

So how is gnome-keyring started? Is it running after login? Or does it
appear when you run a specific application?
I don't know, maybe pam?? I have beagle running, could that be it. It
appears to generate another instance (or several) for both <user> and
<root> about every five minutes. I will watch and advise interval. I
would post it now, but just deleted all instances and related
directories in /tmp.
ps aux |grep keyring >> public_html/gnome-keyring-daemon.txt
output available: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/~pat/gnome-keyring-daemon.txt
