Hi, this should be a well known bug, something abount radeon and kernel
modesetting. You need (as workaround) a boot option if I remember well..
Serch in bugzilla/google for the right option.

Thanks for the hint, Daniele. That did it.
Booting up with radeon.modeset=0 makes my radeon come back to life :-))
