I went back into the archive and checked bugzilla. My issues seems to
be new, so I opened a new bugzilla.

All,
I just zypper dup'ped a 11.1 laptop to the latest (m5).
And now init 5 seems to be basically ignored. init 3 is working fine.
I've got a Intel GM965 so I tried:

but that had no effect. I'm pretty sure someone here had posted a different solution.
