This has been reported a few times by various people but always without YaST logs. Please attach YaST logs for any problems concerning YaST.
Unfortunately this is not possible because the install is not completed. If no partitions can be defined, one has to cancel the operation, and everything is lost. So, if the people who reported this were in the same situation, the could not send yast logs, because there arent any....
Luckily that's not true. You can start an xterm or switch to the
console and save the logs via network or on some partition you
mount manually, e.g. on a USB stick.
See: http://en.opensuse.org/YaST/Bugs,

How do you think we debug problems during installation?
Telepathy? Crystal ball?
