[opensuse-factory] Firefox notifications (downloads)

Hi,
yesterday during testing of the plasma notification addon in Factory I
noticed that I wasn't able to get any notifications w/o that addon anymore.
I've tested Gnome and WindowMaker and downloaded files. Usually a
notification popup shows up telling that the download is finished and I
get that on 11.1 but I don't get it with the same* version of Firefox in
Factory.
Do others have seen any notifications from Firefox on Factory?
If not, anyone an idea what could cause the issue? (Any Gtk+ changes
probably?)
(*) same version built on the target platform obviously
