I'm trying to apply the M2 i586 DVD delta iso to the M1 i586 DVD iso:
applydeltaiso openSUSE-DVD-Build0066-i586.iso openSUSE-DVD-Build0066_Build0116-i586.delta.iso openSUSE-DVD-Build0116-i586.iso
(all on one line) and end up with the following error on two different 11.1 systems:
... yast2-tftp-server.noarch: copying unchanged payload yast2-theme-openSUSE.noarch: copying unchanged payload yast2-tv.noarch (lzma.2): applying delta yast2-x11.noarch (lzma.2): applying delta zd1211-firmware.noarch: copying unchanged payload glibc.i686 (lzma.2): applying delta glibc-devel.i686 (lzma.2): applying delta md5sum mismatch, iso is corrupt
I also cannot find an md5sum for the openSUSE-DVD-Build0116-i586.iso (although there is one for the 115 build which doesn't have an iso).
Is there a problem with the delta build and should I just download the full DVD again?
You're doing this on a 11.1? This may possibly not work as we switched from lzma to xz (just a minor update, but enough to break the fragile way deltarpms are generated in).
The problem of the md5sum is interesting. Even the .sha1 files are all old md5sums. I'll check that. But the md5sum is there, just also the old ones: from openSUSE-DVD-Build0116-i586.iso.md5 0ce19530b48b2a95491476d1aad85483 openSUSE-DVD-Build0116-i586.iso
Greetings, Stephan
Thanks Stephen, I wasn't aware of the change. I'll try again after installing M1 now that my laptop is available for testing. Ken -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
