I can grab the left side of the size column header and drag to the right
until the horizontal scroll bar appears at the bottom and I can double
click it and it auto resizes, mine behaves correctly
yast2-qt-pkg-2.18.9-1.1 which is the latest in factory. Your problem is
most probably qt4 related, I'm running libqt4-4.5.1-2.1 which is also
the latest ( at least it was yesterday)
