[opensuse-factory] Is there supposed to be metadata for http://download.opensuse.org/factory/repo/debug/suse/

Devs,

Working with the kde43 Crash Handler, you are referred to
http://en.opensuse.org/Bugs:An_application_crashed#Install_-debuginfo_Packages
and then to the factory/repo/debug/suse repo. Adding the debug repo, you are
left unable to use it due to the lack of metadata:

[14:18 alchemy:~] # zypper ref
<snip>
Error building the cache database:
Cannot determine type for repository kde4-debug.
Skipping repository 'kde4-debug' because of the above error.

The repo definition is:

[14:20 alchemy:~] # cat /etc/zypp/repos.d/kde4-debug.repo
[kde4-debug]
name=
baseurl=http://download.opensuse.org/factory/repo/debug/suse/
type=NONE
enabled=1
autorefresh=0
gpgcheck=1
keeppackages=1

Looking at http://download.opensuse.org/factory/repo/debug/ or
.../repo/debug/suse there isn't a traditional metadata directory only the
content.asc and directory.yast. What gives?

I presume this might work with Yast SW Management, but with yast sw
managememnt dead as a doornail due to the qt45 libs installed with the
kde43beta1 1-click-install, using yast isn't an option. See:

https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=509626

I have been loading the debuginfo packages with rpm directly from the
debug
repo, example:

rpm -Uvh
http://download.opensuse.org/factory/repo/debug/suse/x86_64/kdepimlibs4-
debuginfo-4.2.88svn973768-1.1.x86_64.rpm

but I would like to at least be able to use zypper. What can I do to
accomplish this? What am I missing?
