Well, sometimes the upgrade does fail and then it would be really helpful
to have a proper environment instead of that crippled one of the NET ISO.
Beside that, what's against installing/upgrading directly from a live-CD ?
It's seems to me a natural procedure to try out something new on a live cd
and then install it on the spot if I like it.
What we could do is starting some kind of network install out of the live CD,
