So, rather then go back to a broken audio system that actually worked we
should use a new audio system that doesn't work. On my system and many
others the sound does not come out in a steady stream but comes out in
pulses. This has been reported many times. Thanks, but no thanks.

openSUSE 11.1, two different systems one 32 bit and one 64 bit.
