btw, ZYpp supports a expiry metadata (only works with rpm-md metadata,
that is http://download.opensuse.org/factory/repo/oss/suse )

So, if we know factory has to rebuild at least once a X time, one can
set that expiry time and ZYpp will complain about possibly dead mirror
if there are no updates afterwards.
