currently looking into lowering the time required to boot SLE
11/openSUSE in general.

ones that can be applied to the stock distro and don't compromise on
functionality - we'd love to see them in the ideas section of:

We're especially interested in benchmarks and areas where we may be
doing plain stupid stuff during boot (kernel, system or GNOME desktop).
