What is the process of getting new packages into the official
distribution?
I am asking because we are currently packaging the next development
version of GNOME in GNOME:Factory:Next, and so far, 3 new packages are
needed in the official distro.
beside the need to edit pdb, I have been told that submitreq create work
for new packages. So all you need is to submitreq it.
And for those outside of SUSE/Novell, you need to ask somebody to create
the pdb entry for you. Of course it is all subject to approval.
