do you really get the device-mapper message that often? I suggest to file a bugreport in our bugzilla. The underlying problem (I guess you disabled devicemapper) should be handled more gracefully. Yes, I get the messages that often. I've opened #463296. And no, devicemapper isn't disabled. This installation has all except / on LVM.
