Hello,
I was wondering if openSUSE 11.1 is going to include a nice set of wallpapers (from KDE-Look.org or elsewhere).
To get more wallpapers, you can join to artwork:wallpapers OBS project. Just now it contains 15 packages with ~800 wallpapers. More packages would be welcome.
Thanks for the info. A few questions: Is there a quick way too see what wallpapers are included in the propaganda packages? From what I've seen, It seems that I would have to download/install them all. I would like to see the thumbnails.
OBS does not provide a simple way to offer screenshots for packages, so I made no screeenshot. They are abstract seamless tiles. It is a popular work of Bowie J. Poag (vol. 00-12) and Naru Sundar (vol. 13-14) as it was packaged in 1999-2000. The only added value of openSUSE packages is a GNOME and KDE background selector integration.
Are there any specific guidelines to contribute? I mean do you accept pictures or do you prefer a rpm package with pictures in it?
If you want to contribute, I can add you to a list of maintainers in this Build Service repository. The only way is a RPM source package, which can be submitted to the Build Service. Feel free to copy my scripts in the propaganda spec files to get your backgrounds integrated into GNOME and KDE. If you will need a help, feel free to ask me.
