with folders inside, cannot compress/decompress .rar files, etc

Why isn't it in KDE4? Will the packman version cause dependency
problems when
users go to update their system with zypper up -t package like all of the
xine-lib / lib-xine issues in 10.3 and 11.0? Substituting 3rd party packages
for what was core-functionality seems like a reckless direction to take.
