2008/12/6 Javier Llorente <javier@xxxxxxxxxxxx>:
While this is still not implemented in KDE4, there is a nice add-on in
packman repository called 'kde4-ExtractAndCompress' who fill this gap.

Hello everyone,
Feedback regarding openSUSE 11.1 RC 1:
I would like to be able to right click on a tar.gz/tar.bz2/zip/etc file
and unzip wherever it is located. I could do that on previous
releases.
Thanks for your reply, Andreas :)
Regarding this, I have found a relevant bug
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=156476
It seems that ark/kde4 lacks the --extract and --extract-to arguments.
One possible solution would be having both kde3/ark (just for the
extract and extract here menus) and kde4/ark for the rest. It is probably
to late to fix this I guess.
