To put it easily it will be the method that allows you to rdp to a Linux box.
See xrdp packages (although I don't think it'll be quite ready for full
production at the time 11.1 is released, but they are banking on it being
ready for SLED 11).

There are quite a few open bug reports with it and it's workings with pam and
kdm and other basic funtionality issues.

Hope that gives the most basic of overviews of what "NOMAD" is..
